Quality Assurance Engineer We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who thrives on continuous improvement, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is eager to make a measurable impact across manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll be a key leader in developing and advancing quality initiatives, championing Lean methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance, streamline processes, and elevate customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, processes, and standards that ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and business requirements. Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and maintain adherence to quality standards. Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that standardize, simplify, and optimize operations across multiple facilities. Drive projects focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and enhancing overall operational performance. Serve as a quality subject matter expert, providing guidance and strategic direction to leadership and cross-functional teams. Coordinate and lead efforts to achieve and maintain quality certifications and regulatory compliance requirements. Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to identify and implement impactful quality improvements. Analyze quality metrics and performance data to uncover trends, solve recurring issues, and support data-driven decision-making. Develop and deliver training programs that strengthen quality awareness, accountability, and best practices throughout the organization. Foster a culture of continuous learning, problem-solving, and operational excellence. Build strong supplier partnerships by establishing quality expectations, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions when needed. Investigate customer quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions. Prepare and present meaningful quality performance reports and recommendations to sr. leadership. What You'll Bring

- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality standards, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining quality procedures, standards, and SOPs.
- Demonstrated success applying Lean principles and continuous improvement tools to drive measurable results.
- Knowledge of quality-related certifications, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage all levels of an organization.
- Proven leadership ability with experience influencing teams, driving change, and building a culture of quality.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
