About this role

Construction Sales Support Specialist

Build the foundation for a career in specialty equipment sales.

The Sales Support Specialist is a key member of our team and plays an important role in delivering our specialty equipment projects from the time a sale is closed through final installation and customer turnover. This position works closely with our sales team, customers, vendors, installers, and internal departments to coordinate projects, track progress, resolve issues, and ensure that every detail is managed from order to completion.

But this position is about more than project coordination.

The Sales Support Specialist is designed as a position for an individual who has the potential and desire to grow into a Regional Sales Representative.  During this role, you will gain hands-on experience with the products we sell, the industries and applications they serve, and the process of taking a project from a signed order to a successful installation.

You will work alongside experienced sales professionals and become immersed in the technical and practical aspects of our business. You’ll learn how our equipment is specified, ordered, delivered, installed, and used in the field, while developing an understanding of what makes each application unique. This experience provides a valuable foundation for building the product knowledge, industry expertise, customer understanding, and problem-solving skills required to succeed in a future sales role.

For the right candidate, this position is a pathway into specialty equipment sales . It offers the opportunity to learn our business from the ground up, develop relationships across the organization and with customers, and gradually take on greater responsibility as your knowledge and capabilities grow.

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, curious, and comfortable taking ownership of projects. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to learn, enjoys working with people and equipment, and sees this position as a step toward a long-term career in sales. This is a role in a growth-minded company with a growing team.

- Assist with quotes, orders, purchase orders, scheduling, project documentation, and customer communications.

- Coordinate product availability, deliveries, job-site requirements, and other project logistics.

- Track projects from initial order through completion and proactively identify potential issues or delays.

- Support sales representatives in preparing for customer meetings, job-site visits, bids, and other sales activities.

- Communicate professionally and consistently with customers, contractors, vendors, and coworkers.

- Take on increasing responsibility as product knowledge, construction knowledge, and sales skills develop.

The Career Path

The Sales Support Specialist role is intentionally structured as a development position for future construction sales professionals .
