What you'll do?

Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. Lifts pallets to examine pallets, removes defective boards, and corrects nail-related issues. Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of the quality control station.

Hours:

Monday - Friday

1st Shift 6 am to 3:30 pm

Pay rate: $18.00

Duties Include:

- Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
- Attention to detail & commitment to quality
- Inspect pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination. Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Remove damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
- Cleans area during and at the end of shift.
- May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.
- Performs other duties as required.

Skills

- Must be 18+ years old
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
