We're making a significant investment in Data and AI as a core strategic priority. As Executive Manager, Data & AI, you will design, orchestrate and deliver New Zealand's Data & AI Transformation roadmap, partnering with senior leaders, key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the enterprise to drive business readiness and transformational change. This role will shape and execute our Data and AI strategy, influence at Executive and Board level, and build a high-performing capability that delivers innovative AI, data science and automation solutions. Joining at a defining stage of the journey, you'll play a critical role in helping IAG realise the full potential of Data and AI to enhance customer experiences. This is a permanent full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do

• Lead the identification, prioritisation and delivery of Data and AI opportunities across the enterprise, creating and executing an integrated New Zealand Data & AI roadmap aligned to strategic objectives.

• Establish, scale and embed IAG New Zealand's Data Centre of Excellence, driving data governance, best practice, capability uplift and continuous improvement.

• Uplift customer experience and realise operational efficiencies by driving the adoption of data and AI analytics into IAG’s business processes.

• Actively contribute as a member of the IAG New Zealand Senior Leadership Group, helping shape strategic direction and drive enterprise-wide transformation.

• Represent the function at executive and Board level, providing strategic thought leadership on emerging Data & AI opportunities and risks.

Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring

• Deep expertise in Data Science, AI and emerging technologies, including experience translating technical concepts into commercial and strategic outcomes.

• Demonstrated experience developing and executing Data & AI strategies, roadmaps and target-state operating models within complex organisations.

• Significant experience leading enterprise-wide Data, AI or digital transformation initiatives, delivering measurable business and customer outcomes.

• Proven ability to influence and engage executive and Board-level stakeholders, with the gravitas to represent Data & AI initiatives at the highest levels of the organisation.

• Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
