Qualifications:
- At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Professional Driver’s License appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Preferably 2–3 years of professional driving experience.
- Experience in shuttle/passenger transport or company driving is an advantage.
- Knowledge of defensive driving, basic vehicle inspection, route planning, and passenger safety.
- Willing to learn electric vehicle (EV) operation and charging procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the EV shuttle between Interweave and Glitch based on the assigned schedule and route.
- Transport authorized employees, students, and passengers safely and on time.
- Inspect the vehicle before every shift/trip and report any defects immediately.
- Check the EV’s battery level and charging status and coordinate charging as needed.
- Ensure passengers board and exit only at designated locations.
- Complete and submit trip logs and vehicle records accurately.
- Keep the shuttle clean and ready for daily operations.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, delays, and safety issues immediately.
- Follow traffic laws, approved routes, and CIIT safety and shuttle procedures.
- Coordinate with Facilities and Security regarding shuttle movement, access, and transport concerns.
