About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Webmaster to support the operation and maintenance of a digital collaboration environment used by a network of experts within a European Institution. The position is located in Brussels and is open to both freelance and employment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing digital content, maintaining collaborative workspace, supporting knowledge-sharing activities, and providing technical assistance to users and stakeholders. This role combines web content management, user support, platform administration, and coordination of digital collaboration activities in a multilingual and international environment.

Your Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain digital platforms and websites, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with institutional standards.

- Publish, update, and organize content within a Drupal-based environment and support the integration of documents and multimedia assets.

- Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, support materials, and technical documentation.

- Provide first-line user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams when escalation is required.

- Administer and maintain collaborative workspaces and knowledge-sharing environments, including document repositories and online collaboration tools.

- Support information-sharing activities by organizing content, managing contributions, and ensuring easy access to shared resources.

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of registers, repositories, and other structured information resources.

- Provide technical and logistical support for online and onsite meetings, including configuration of collaboration tools and document-sharing environments.

- Track deliverables, action items, and documentation to support effective follow-up and coordination of activities.

- Prepare and disseminate approved communications, newsletters, and other digital information products.

- Ensure compliance with accessibility, governance, documentation, and information management standards.

Your Profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Web Technologies, Digital Communication, IT, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Webmaster, Digital Content Manager, Platform Administrator, or in a similar role.

- Experience working with Drupal or other content management systems.

- Knowledge of collaboration and document management tools, including Microsoft 365 and MS Teams.

- Experience providing user support, preparing documentation, and managing digital content.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in an international environment.

- Excellent command of English (minimum C1 level).

- Previous experience within European Institutions is considered a strong asset.
