About this role

We are currently inviting a Logistics Manager to join our growing manufacturing team in our newly established facility in Vĩnh Lộc 2 Industrial Zone Park, Mỹ Yên, Tây Ninh (Formerly Bến Lức, Long An). Join our team TLT: Innovate, Collaborate, and Excel!

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Search and coordinate with carriers to arrange transportation.
- Organize transport tenders, control transport booking and negotiations with carriers.
- Select appropriate routes and transportation methods (sea freight, air freight, road transport, etc.).
- Calculate shipping prices according to shipment volume and delivery place.
- Prepare and submit documents for the formalization of import or export declarations accurately and on time.
- Ensure documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with the regulations of all involved countries.
- Select and control customs codes (HS codes).
- Monitor and control transportation costs to stay within budget.
- Monitor and oversee the transportation process to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle arising problems promptly and provide timely feedback during transport.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, as well as other reports as required.
- Monitor packaging material requirements and maintaining warehouse stock levels.
- Communicate with government institutions (Customs, Export / Import management offices, and related authorities).
- Control whole import process with customs, providing needed information and documents (copies of PO’s, Invoices, HS codes / translations of parts description, certificates, datasheets and etc.)

Team Leadership & Development

- Mentor, train, and provide continuous development pathways for the shipping and logistics administrative staff.
- Administer annual goal-setting and ensure regular, constructive feedback is documented within TLT’s performance management system.
- Recruit, retain, and groom high-potential talent within the logistics function.
- Execute core management duties, including performance appraisals, daily work assignments, resource forecasting, and ensure consistent application of company policies.
- Act as a cultural change-agent, leading by example to foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Design and execute a cohesive department operating plan aligned with TLT's global supply chain strategies.
- Handle other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in customs, shipping, freight operations, or logistics within a manufacturing environment (Electronics Manufacturing Services, PCB production, or similar high-tech environment preferred), including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- The candidate should have experience with land, air, and sea transport (at least one type of transport is required, experience with all types is an advantage).
- Experience with customs procedures is required – customs clearance of goods, completion of import and export declarations, and application of customs codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
