About this role

Role Purpose

Handles advanced responsibilities related to commercial management of construction projects. The role involves quantity surveying tasks such as take-off, interim payments, and variation assessments while ensuring compliance with contractual terms and supporting Quantity surveying engineer staff within a project-based setup.

Key Accountabilities

- Prepare quantity take-offs in accordance with drawings and specifications.

- Preparing the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier invoices.

- preparing Payment interim and commercial documentation.

- Preparing Variation assessments and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

- Guide and mentor Quantity surveying engineers.

- Collaborate with planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency.

- Maintain well-documented records for contractual purposes.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in civil , Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.

- Minimum 4 years of solid experience in construction quantity surveying.

- Strong knowledge of contract administration (FIDIC, local standards).

- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

- Proficiency in QS software (e.g.,MS Excel, AutoCAD).

- Proficient in English.
