Flux Core Welder (Day Shifts)
Location: Houston, TX 77447 (Hockley area)
Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.00 / hour
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Shifts Available:
1st Shift (Day): 6AM - 4PM Monday - Friday Note: Overtime and Saturdays/weekends are required based on project needs.
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious Welders to join our production team. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to support various departments as production needs shift to keep operations running smoothly.
Essential Duties & Qualifications:
Proven experience with GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) welding processes. Must be able to successfully pass a 3G weld test . Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings. Follow written and verbal instructions to complete fabrication tasks, maintaining high focus and attention to detail during repetitive assignments. Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, attendance policies, and required PPE dress codes.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Industrial fabrication setting. Must be comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions and a moderate manufacturing noise environment. Ability to stand, sit, walk, crouch, kneel, balance, climb stairs, and reach for extended periods. Excellent manual dexterity to manipulate small parts; visual and hearing competency to safely navigate a busy shop floor. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
