About this role
This entry professional role ensures the temple ordinances are kept pure and made available to worthy Church members. They provide an environment where patrons may have a positive and uplifting experience each time they come to the temple. They work to maintain and operate temples at standards established by the First Presidency. They support temples/supporting buildings that total up to 40,000 square feet. This role may be people supervisor.
- Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree , HND, OND, Trade Test Certificate, City & Guilds certification, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Technology, Facilities Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, engineering support, or a specialized trade.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems, including preventive maintenance practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and able to use computerized maintenance management systems, work-order software, and web-based reporting tools.
- Relevant technical certifications such as Trade Test Certification, NABTEB, City & Guilds, HVAC certification, NEMSA certification (where applicable), or equivalent industry-recognized credentials are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety practices, including proper use of PPE and hazard identification.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) independently and perform the physical requirements associated with facilities maintenance work.
