Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced German Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team and take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely payroll-related services for employees in Germany. The role will involve managing employee and payroll data, handling payroll inputs and queries, supporting payroll processes and documentation, and resolving complex payroll-related cases.
Your Responsibilities
- Registration and maintenance of employee data (e.g., new hires, changes, terminations, tax information, pension control)
- Maintenance of organizational structure
- Absence /attendance registration and handling
- Registration of payroll data input (e.g., deductions, benefits, bonuses, new salaries)
- Preparation and delivery of reports
- Handling service requests through C4C system and inquiries by phone
- Producing the contracts and other employment related documentation Maintaining physical and / or electronical archive
- To solve problems and be a case manager for complex multi functional issues.
- Train and guide other team members.
- Performing any additional tasks, linked to the primary scope of the position.
Your Experience and Skills
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations, with strong hands-on experience in German payroll.
- Solid knowledge of German payroll processes, statutory requirements, taxes, social security and employment-related regulations .
- Experience managing end-to-end or significant parts of the German payroll cycle, including payroll inputs, employee data, absences, deductions, benefits and reporting.
- Experience working with payroll systems or HRIS platforms. SAP HCM / SAP Payroll and/or SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Fluent English ; German language skills are highly desirable.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage complex payroll cases and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
