Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable LVN/LPNs to provide direct nursing care to residents at healthcare center. The LVN/LPN will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), psychiatric needs, and dual-diagnosis conditions , ensuring residents receive safe, quality, and person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct nursing care and support to residents in accordance with established care plans and nursing standards.

- Monitor residents' health conditions and report changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and according to applicable policies and procedures.

- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and resident records.

- Assist with assessing residents' health needs and responding appropriately to changes in condition.

- Support individuals with IDD, psychiatric conditions, and dual-diagnosis needs in a respectful and compassionate manner.

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team.

- Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable nursing regulations.

- Work independently while also collaborating effectively with nurses, direct-care staff, and other healthcare professionals.

- Adapt to changing resident needs and workplace situations.

Minimum Qualifications

- Current, unencumbered LVN/LPN nursing license in Texas .

- Experience working with individuals with IDD, psychiatric, and/or dual-diagnosis populations .

- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening .

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and learn new procedures and responsibilities.

- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a residential, behavioral health, developmental disability, or long-term care setting.

- Experience providing nursing care to individuals with complex behavioral or developmental needs.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with direct patient/resident care.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist residents as required.

- Ability to respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations.
