Job Title: Cage Cashier Supervisor

Supervision Received: Operations Supervisor

Supervision Exercised:  N/A

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Key Responsibilities:

- Cash out patrons, give correct change, answer patron questions in a courteous and professional manner to promote a positive entertainment experience.

- Count and record the exchange of assigned funds at the beginning and throughout the shift with a goal of enforcing accurate exchanges with internal and external guests.

- Balance all funds at the completion of each shift in partnership with a supervisor or manager.

- Complete all required departmental paperwork such as: Multiple Transaction Logs, opening and closing paperwork and any additional paperwork needed throughout the shift with accuracy while adhering to all related policies and procedures including: Title 31 regulatory requirements, MICS/TICS, Standard Operating Procedures, internal processes and departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.

- Review balance sheets completed daily by Money Room Clerks to verify MR Vault assets.

- Assist MR Vault and/or Soft Count employees in daily cash verification duties when volume warrants.

- Responsible for providing guidance and direction to assigned departmental personnel.

- Provide duties and directives to assigned operations personnel to ensure efficient operation of departments.

- Investigate and resolve all daily compliance and balancing discrepancies that arise from balancing issues between Soft Count and Finance Department and the close of End of Business balancing in accordance with the MICS and TICS guidelines

General Responsibilities:

- Stay current on all casino promotions through communication with leadership and using internal resources such as pre-shift meetings, bulletin boards and promotion cards.

- Participate in departmental meetings in order to update staff on important information regarding relevant cage activities ensuring departmental cohesion.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Redirect the labor force according to changing activity during a shift.

- Oversee employees’ job functions and job performance including but not limited to, employee scheduling, Title 31 training, annual evaluation, employee’s development, and disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

- Previous cash handling experience required

- Six months previous customer service experience preferred

- Minimum of two (2) years money room equivalent experience

- Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience; management training may substitute

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Must be able to read, analyze, interpret, apply and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations and policies

- Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills to respond to common  inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies and/or employees

- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and general computer use

- Must possess the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

- Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts

- Must be able to work flexible days and hours including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to work in a smoke filled casino environment

Licenses/Certifications/Other:

- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions

- Must possess or obtain an Oklahoma ABLE License, before beginning your first shift

- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
