About this role
Teaching and Choreography:
- At The Hiland Theater we are currently seeking teachers with experience and passion in working with children ages 6-12, versed in one or more of the following disciplines: ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, and hip-hop; we are also seeking hip-hop and breaking teachers for older students as well.
- Instructors prepare lesson plans for classes, and choreography for performances
General Artistic Duties:
- Attends all enrichment workshops and staff meetings as needed
- Follows NDI New Mexico program curriculum set by program director
- Provides program director with required materials and information as needed
- Supports performances by working backstage
- Subbing classes when available
- Other duties as needed and mutually agreed upon
