Oakwood Veneer Company is hiring a Production Associate / Machine Operator for our Troy, MI manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, entry-level opportunity with paid training, consistent weekday hours, and long-term employment potential .
No manufacturing experience required-we will train the right person. Experience in production, machine operation, assembly, warehouse, material handling, food service, or other hands-on work is helpful but not required.
Pay & Schedule
- $17.05/hour effective rate when working a full 40-hour week
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch; 40 hours per week
- No nights, weekends, or scheduled holidays
Job Responsibilities
Operate production machinery, perform manufacturing and assembly tasks, follow work instructions, and maintain quality standards. Move materials weighing approximately 20–30 pounds, stand and remain active throughout the shift, learn different machines and processes, and keep the work area safe and organized.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, comfortable working on their feet, and able to follow instructions . The job involves repetitive tasks, machinery, and repeatedly lifting 20–30 pounds. Previous experience is a plus, but training is provided.
