The Team: 
This role is a part of the production team. The Wave operator work with and supports the inspector/solderer teams and wave assembly line team.

The Role: 
In this position, the wave operator is operating the machine, setting it up and completing a basic inspection to ensure the board runs through the machine correctly. The operator is consistently on his/her feet in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

You will spend your time:

- Perform machine set-up for wave machine

- Operate wave machine

- Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools

- Perform other machine operations as needed

- Rotate to various workstations as required

- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor

- Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment

- Follow prescribed safety regulations

- Complete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision

- Other duties as assigned

Parental permission required if under 18 years of age

Physical Demands:

- Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time worked

- Must be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.
