Job Description

Mac Haik Ford is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Collision Estimator to join our busy body shop team. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our customers, insurance representatives, and repair technicians to deliver accurate, comprehensive collision repair estimates.

- Monday through Friday

- Rotating Saturday shifts

Pay

- $60,000 - $100,000 per year

Work Requirements

- Experience: 2+ years of collision estimating experience in a high-volume body shop or dealership collision center.

- DRP experience is preferred

- Software: Proficiency in CCC ONE estimating software required.

- Drivers License: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required.

- Ability to commute to Houston, TX (Katy Freeway location).

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

- Estimate Creation: Conduct thorough visual inspections and write precise, complete repair estimates using CCC ONE software in accordance with Ford OEM guidelines and insurance policies.

- Insurance Coordination: Negotiate supplements, review repair orders, and maintain positive working relationships with DRP representatives and field adjusters.

- Customer Communication: Walk vehicle owners through the repair process, set realistic timelines, and provide regular, proactive updates regarding vehicle status.

- Repair Workflow Management: Work closely with body technicians, structural specialists, paint teams, and the parts department to ensure seamless repair progression and parts availability.

- Quality & File Compliance: Ensure all estimate documentation, digital photos, repair orders, and insurance approvals are audit-ready prior to final vehicle delivery.

- Delivery & Final Billing: Review completed repairs with customers upon vehicle pickup, handle final payments/deductibles, and resolve any customer concerns.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong technical knowledge of auto body repair procedures, frame/structural alignment, refinishing steps, and ADAS recalibration requirements.

- Extensive experience with CCC ONE estimating, digital imaging, and dealership management software.

- ICAR or ASE certifications preferred (e.g., I-CAR Non-Structural or Damage Analysis).

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong conflict-resolution capabilities.

- High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open repair files simultaneously.
