Continuing along it highly successful growth trajectory, San Francisci Federal is seeking a Loan Processor Specialist for our Golden Gate Branch in San Francisco.

The Position

The Loan Processor plays a critical role in supporting San Francisco Federal Credit Unions (SFFedCU)

consumer lending operations through the accurate and timely processing, funding, and administration of

loans. This position provides cross-functional support for the GoGreen and HomeSolutions programs

within Home Lending Solutions, as well as the ongoing management and growth of the Indirect Auto loan

portfolio. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, program guidelines, and internal

controls while delivering an exceptional experience for members and business partners.

With a strong technical and operational focus, the Loan Processor works across multiple lending systems to

manage loan pipelines, funding activities, processing queues, and issue resolution. The position

collaborates with members, contractors, dealers, vendors, and internal teams to support efficient loan

origination and portfolio administration, while contributing to process improvements, program

enhancements, cross-selling opportunities, and overall operational excellence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Review, verify, and process consumer loan applications for GoGreen, HomeSolutions, and Indirect

Auto lending programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.

Monitor and manage loan pipelines, digital lending workflows, processing queues, servicing

inboxes, and funding activities to meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and production

goals.

Provide professional phone and email support to members, contractors, merchants, dealers, and

internal partners, including handling escalated inquiries and gathering required loan

documentation and information.

Collaborate with underwriters, lending staff, merchants, dealers, and business partners to resolve

application issues, satisfy loan conditions, and facilitate timely loan funding and portfolio

administration.

Maintain strong working relationships with Home Lending Solutions merchants, GoGreen program

partners, and indirect auto dealers to support program performance, service excellence, and

portfolio growth.

Serve as a liaison between members and external partners, ensuring a seamless lending

experience and high levels of member and partner satisfaction.

Identify member financial needs and support cross-selling opportunities by educating members on

appropriate Credit Union products and services.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, program requirements, Credit Union policies,

privacy standards, and member confidentiality guidelines.

Leverage lending systems, reports, and operational tools to identify process improvements,

support data integrity, and enhance operational efficiency.

Support the enhancement, and ongoing administration of Home Lending Solutions and Consumer

Lending programs, products, and initiatives.

Participate in business development activities, community engagement events, training

opportunities, and continuous improvement efforts to support departmental and organizational

goals.

Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Who Are You?

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a consumer lending environment, including loan

processing, boarding, funding, and servicing activities.

Knowledge of MeridianLink, LoanStar, Corelation KeyStone, or similar loan origination and core

processing systems preferred but not required.

Strong knowledge of consumer lending practices, loan documentation requirements, and

regulatory compliance standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally

and effectively with members, contractors, merchants, dealers, and colleagues at all levels.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated commitment to

delivering exceptional member and partner service.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment

in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs

while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to process detailed

information and follow established procedures and guidelines.

Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency

initiatives.

Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and compliance.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold Credit Union policies, privacy standards, and

member information security requirements.
