Job Summary

Engineer, Electrical II applies developing knowledge and experience in electrical engineering to support the design, development, installation and testing of systems or components. Builds familiarity with internal and external processes, organizational goals, and plant applications. Solves a range of moderately complex problems by applying standard engineering methods and procedures. Operates with a moderate level of guidance and regularly collaborates with other departments and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Administers engineering tasks across assigned projects, ensuring technical deliverables are completed in accordance with scope, schedule, and quality standards.

- Coordinates somewhat complex assignments with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and operations staff to integrate systems and align designs with operational requirements.

- Analyzes somewhat complex data, circuit behaviors, and design outcomes to validate system functionality, identify deviations, and recommend refinements.

- Designs somewhat complex electrical circuits, schematics, or subsystems that meet performance specifications and industry standards.

- Documents technical findings, design iterations, and test results in engineering databases and reporting systems to support compliance and traceability.

- Communicates technical information and recommendations to cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support project alignment.

- Recommends adjustments to engineering tools, design approaches, or processes to improve design efficiency and technical performance.

- Implements standard troubleshooting practices to resolve design or integration issues and provides technical guidance to entry-level engineers.

- Identifies opportunities to support peer learning by reviewing draft designs, sharing feedback, and participating in group problem-solving discussions.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Specialized Degree: Electrical Engineering

Years of Experience: 2-4 years

Field of Expertise: Electrical Engineering

Preferred Education & Experience

Licenses/Certificates: Professional Engineer (PE) license (in progress or future eligibility)
AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical Certification
OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years
