Job Summary:
PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local wholesale food distributor to find a detail-oriented, dependable Tobacco / Repack Selector to join their active warehouse team! In this key role, you will be responsible for selecting designated open-case products accurately and placing them securely into totes or boxes along a conveyor line to fulfill customer orders. Key Responsibilities:
Read selection labels or operate hand-held scanners to identify slot locations, product descriptions, and required order quantities.
Pull correct quantities of open-case items from slot locations and place them into totes or boxes on a static conveyor line.
Push totes efficiently along the static conveyor line to subsequent pick slots until the order is completely filled.
Pack products carefully to prevent damage to items, totes, or equipment during transit and handling.
Maintain high quality and productivity standards to minimize mispicks, inventory shortages, and damaged goods.
Adhere strictly to company safety policies, facility procedures, and attendance standards.
Qualifications & Special Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to speak, read, and understand English clearly.
Ability to work comfortably in varying warehouse temperature extremes ranging from 38°F to 110°F.
Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach overhead continuously for periods of two hours or more.
Willingness and capability to be trained and certified on required warehouse equipment within 30 days of hire.
Flexible schedule availability to accommodate early mornings, extended shifts, and weekend work based on operational needs.
Must be able to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen, and criminal background check.
