About this role
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate asset tracking, inventory control, and system compliance across assigned areas. This role supports asset lifecycle management through coordination with IT, Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, and Corporate Services, while providing technical expertise, training, and audit support to field and area personnel
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and 2–5 years of related experience in asset and/or inventory control.
• Experience with asset management, inventory control, or materials management systems.
Technical & Computer Skills
• Proficiency with current versions of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively use multiple computer software systems.
• Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical, written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, or operational documents.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems independently.
• Ability to research, compile, and prepare reports suitable for presentation to senior management within required timeframes.
Organizational & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.

Physical & Travel Requirements
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally (~10%) for audits, training, and inventory activities.
• Ability to work outdoors at area yard or field locations in various weather conditions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with internal and external clients or customers.
• Demonstrated success working in fast-paced environments and adapting effectively to changing priorities and business needs.
• Knowledge of drilling rigs, oilfield equipment, and related field operations.
