About this role
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in developing policies and procedures and ensuring the accounting policies and procedures are distributed and adhered to globally. This position will manage and monitor the accounting and tracking process and provide support in identifying weaknesses and implementing corrective measures such as system changes, training sessions, and changes in policy and procedures.
Bachelor�s degree in accounting, finance, or business or equivalent relevant work experience preferred. At least 5 years progressive responsibility in accounting Master�s Degree preferred. CPA is preferred. Previous working experience in the drilling industry or with an oil-related service company is preferred. Ability to improve processes and establish policies and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent problem solving skills. English language strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proven people and organizational skills. Participative management style-advocate of team concept. Commitment to customer service.
