Why This Role Matters

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a welcoming and positive guest service experience to all Wine Retail customers by maintaining a well-merchandised environment. This role will drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products, assisting the Retail Sales Manager with day-to-day front of house and in-store responsibilities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers,   in person or via phone,   build ing   relationships, and informing about products and services
- Organize and distribute inventory,   receiving   and stocking   wine   to   maintain   storefront
- Assist   with inventory   management, reviewing   depletions,   invoice s ,   and requisition s
- Assist   with in-store   purchases ,   pick-up ,   and   coordination and support of deliver ies
- Draft and   maintain   accurate   wine descriptions and tasting notes
- Execute wine classes and   events , including set up , check-in, pouring, and breakdown
- Participate in wine and spirits training to build product knowledge
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
- Ensure practices   are in compliance with   SLA rules and regulations
- Other duties and projects as assigned by Manager

Physical Requirements

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle   up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to c limb ladders and   repeatedly lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and kneel
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends

What you’ll bring to the team

- Genuine appreciation of and passion for   fine   wine and spirits
- Minimum   1 + years of   wine   sales experience ,   wine   specific   certification , comparable level of knowledge   preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communications
- Superior, hospitality-driven client service skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize thoughtfully, and manage competing deadlines
- Strong follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work   effectively and   independently   within a collaborative team environment
