The Buyer / Supply Chain Specialist serves as a strategic partner across suppliers, operations, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently and delivered on time. This role leverages expertise in procurement, supplier relationship management, negotiation, and supply chain operations to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), mitigate risk, and support business objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related discipline.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or supply chain management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting technology, hardware, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of freight management, logistics operations, and global supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and procurement best practices.
