Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking labourer to join our team in support of bridge and infrastructure construction. This role involves assisting with a variety of yard-based tasks to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general yard labour and housekeeping duties as required
- Assist with organizing and sorting construction materials and equipment
- Support loading, unloading, and securing materials
- Assist with day-to-day yard activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment
- Participate in yard improvement and maintenance projects.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials and equipment
- Combination of equipment operation and physical labour throughout the workday
- Required PPE includes work boots and hard hat; additional PPE will be provided as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to use/learn to use power tools, and yard equipment
- Basic understanding of safety protocols on a work site
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:
- $26-$28 per hour.
