Sperton Norway AS is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer SEIT for a long-term assignment in Stavanger.
We are looking for a structured professional with a background in electrical, instrumentation and/or automation engineering, combined with experience from MC and commissioning activities within M&M and MOD projects.
About the role
In this role, you will contribute to commissioning activities throughout the project, with a focus on planning, documentation, scope definition and coordination with vendors and offshore teams.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain boundary drawings for commissioning activities
- Develop clear and practical commissioning procedures
- Define the relevant commissioning scope in PCS
- Prepare job cards and handover documentation
- Support FAT preparation and participate in FAT activities at vendor locations
- Coordinate with offshore teams and participate in relevant meetings when required
- Contribute to project planning and schedule updates
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Fagbrev or a Bachelor’s degree within a relevant technical field
- A professional background in electrical, instrumentation and/or automation engineering
- Strong knowledge of SCD, C&E and block hierarchy
- Experience with MC and commissioning in M&M and MOD projects
- An offshore certificate
- Offshore experience, which is strongly preferred
- A proven track record of engineering delivery within the oil & gas industry
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive mindset towards improving ways of working and developing professionally
- An interest in sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues’ development
