About this role

Responsibilities

- Support the Logistics Manager in overseeing daily warehousing and shipping operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely execution of activities.
- Support the review and improvement of warehouse layout, storage practices, and material flow to optimize space utilization and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, safety requirements, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and support regular cycle counts and full stock-count exercises. Investigate discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure material availability.
- Handle escalated operational matters and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Identify and review efficiency and cost saving opportunities for warehouse process, storage space and consumables, and freight expenditure.
- Support in audits and documentation.
- Manage MHE (forklift etc) operations and safety compliance.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain operations in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Experience in an assembly manufacturing or semiconductor environment will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of Air/Sea Waybills, export/import documentation, customs permits, Certificates of Origin and cargo handling procedures.
- Good experience in establishing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Strong knowledge in inventory management systems and concepts.
