About this role

Role overview:

As Legal Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and operational departments. You will deliver proactive legal counsel across commercial sales, employment law, IT/GDPR, and corporate compliance, balancing risk management with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial & Sales Support : Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (distribution, retail, B2B). Create standard contract templates and guidelines to speed up the sales cycle and empower the business teams.

- Labor & HR : Provide guidance on employment contracts, internal policies, disciplinary procedures, and labor law compliance.

- Data Privacy & IT : Ensure GDPR compliance, oversee data protection policies, and handle IT/software agreements.

- Corporate Governance & Compliance : Manage corporate governance (ONRC filings, board decisions), align local practices with Kärcher Group compliance policies, and handle consumer protection (ANPC) matters.

- Financial & Claims : Support finance teams with debt collection procedures, dispute resolution, and litigation management with external counsel when needed.

- External Counsel : Act as the main point of contact for external law firms. Assess which matters to handle in-house versus externalizing, ensuring cost-efficiency and optimal use of the legal budget.

Candidate Profile

- Education & Credentials : Law Degree; active member of the College of Legal Advisors (Colegiul Consilierilor Juridici) is preferred.

- Experience : 4–6 years of generalist legal experience, ideally within a multinational sales, FMCG, retail, or distribution business.

- Expertise : Strong background in Commercial Law, Labor Law, Corporate Governance, GDPR.

- Languages : Fluency in English for frequent Group-level interaction.

- Mindse t: Pragmatic, commercial acumen, strong communication skills, and a "business-enabler" attitude.

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (with functional reporting to Managing Director).
