Job Summary
We are looking for a HEMM Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on heavy earth-moving machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on HEMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Identify and diagnose technical issues with machinery and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with supervisor.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure 100% compliance with safety rules and regulations as per Company guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members during maintenance.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Engineers.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Trade Test or National Diploma in Mechanical Enginering or relevant Technical Discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
Skills And Competencies
- Knowledge of quality control methods and instruments
- Knowledge of quality audit/ testing processes for cement
- Knowledge of the cement production process
- Knowledge of ISO quality management systems
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quantitative analyses
- Problems solving skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer
