# Software Engineer - Python / Data & Automation

### About the Role
We are looking for a Python Developer to join our Data & Automation team. You will work on automation, data extraction, SQL, and internal automation tools. You will also troubleshoot issues and help maintain reliable automation workflows.
### Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts .
- Work on UI, desktop, system, or web automation .
- Add proper error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms .
- Write SQL queries to check, validate, and process data .
- Maintain and improve reusable automation tools and libraries.
- Find and fix issues in automation scripts and workflows.
- Use Git for code management, branching, and code reviews.
- Work with the team and provide regular updates on tasks and issues.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of professional Python experience .
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) .
- Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, or web scraping .
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Good knowledge of Git .
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS – S3, EC2, RDS .
- Knowledge of PySpark or AWS Glue .
- Experience working with REST APIs .
- Knowledge of JSON, Parquet, and other data formats .
- Experience with data migration or data archiving .
