On behalf of Department for Business and Trade , we are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 Month contract based Hybrid in either London, Darlington, Cardiff, Birmingham or Manchester two days per week .
As a Technical Delivery Manager , your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and develop a team to consistently meet objectives and deliver high performance.
- Create the right conditions for delivery, enabling the team to collaborate and prioritise effectively.
- Track delivery progress, maintaining clear and accurate reporting. Build flow and capacity data to drive velocity and improvement and inform operating model and team sizing.
- Protect the team from distractions and foster a collaborative, communicative and focused working environment.
- Manage risks and issues, removing barriers to delivery and ensuring momentum is maintained.
- Improve processes and remove obstacles, iterating existing approaches and introducing new ways of working.
- Ensure the team has the right skills and direction as the work evolves, adapting to changing needs.
PLEASE NOTE: SCClearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
