MISSION
- Fulfill all local statutory and tax reporting obligations for local books and tax purposes
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of the Financial Statements (IFRS and CHN GAAP)
- Provide Top Management with insightful analysis on g rowth, p rofitability and FCF
- Lead consolidation at the China level for monthly reporting and reforecast, including value-added analysis.
- Oversee the Budget and 5‑Year Business Plan for the China Region.
- Support business growth by deploying financial resources effectively across new locations.
- Ensure full organizational compliance through the consistent application of internal control processes.
- Actively managing local financing needs in close coordination with Corporate Treasury
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
Reporting & Consolidation & Analysis :
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting required by Group and BG Finance
- Consolidate and analyze monthly closing and forecast data for each legal entity, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Deliver reliable financial results to management for Monthly Reviews, including performance analysis of plant operations across material margin, plant costs, R&D, and SG&A costs , etc.
- Coordinate the Annual Budget process and consolidation at the country level, ensuring alignment with General Management targets by integrating inputs from Sales, Industrial, R&D, and HR departments
- Lead the Business Plan (5-Year) process and consolidation at the country level, ensuring consistency with the strategic objectives of the Region
Financial Statements & Accounting
- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of financial statements (under both IFRS and CHN GAAP) by supervising and controlling the accounting processes at each location
- Ensure the compliance and robustness of the controlling and accounting systems at each location through the ERP system (SAP)
- Drive continuous improvement of the system in terms of accuracy, timeliness, analytical dimensions, compliance, and segregation of duties
- Ensure tax compliance at each location with respect to tax payment, tax obligation, and tax optimization with support from Group Tax Department
Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate and supervise annual IFRS and statutory audit for each location, and provide support where needed: hard-closing audit, year-end audit, etc.
- Coordinate and supervise internal audits conducted by the Group Internal Audit Department; review internal audit reports and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with and application of Group Procedures at each location through effective communication, compliance audits, pre‑audit reviews, and compliance training, with support from the Compliance Manager.
Performance Analysis
- Support Sales and Program Manager for pricing strategy, defining actions to achieve and enhance program profitability and cash control
- Track and monitor cost reduction plans at country level
Cash Management
- Provide a reliable rolling FCF forecast for the China region to project financing needs with in the year, and coordinate with Group treasury to secure funding through various sources: capital injection, shareholder loan s , b ank loan s , overdraft s , Letter of Credit, etc .
- Anticipate and supervise forex exchange hedging related to investment s, service s and goods purchase s
- Meet Group and BG targets for free cash flow levels by monitoring and controlling overdue amounts and inventory levels, enforcing capex controls, renegotiating supplier payment terms with the Purchasing Department, and implementing letters of credit for significant investments
Stakeholder and Team Management
- Build a high ly efficient Finance team
- Provide coaching, mentoring and on- the- job training to Finance team ( including plant finance teams and direct r eports), and develop individual development plans, including succession plan s for controllers and chief accountants
- Provide support to Plant operations for routine operation al matters as needed

PROFILE REQUIRED
Personal Background
- Master degree in Finance
- 35 – 4 5 years old with approx. 15 years finance experience – Automotive industry is preferred. Minimum of 3 years in Country/Business Unit Finance position.
- 5+ years in Plant Controlling.
- 10 years multi-disciplinary finance experience - i.e. Costing, Reporting, Controlling, Budgeting, Internal /External audit
Skills & Abilities
- S trong leadership, hands on personality, ability to drive processes and analysis improvement.
- Pro-active and think out of the box. Autonomous and innovative.
- Advanced understanding of reporting, budget elaboration, internal control, financing and tax.
- Accurate and methodical in data analysis
- Information System advanced knowledge: SAP , Oracle database and reporting, Excel, PowerPoint.
- English fluency required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels in the organization
- Excellent presentation/public speaking capability and leadership presence
- Must be flexible, dependable and build collaborative relationships with team members and peer groups
