Are you passionate about supporting children in achieving their full potential?

Ipswich High School are seeking to appoint a motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to deliver targeted interventions with small groups of pupils, or, on an individual basis.

You should possess a good standard of education, initiative and an ability to communicate well with both teaching staff and pupils. A good level of English, Mathematics and ICT is essential, as is a caring and patient nature.

Key Responsibilities:

- support pupils with complex needs across a range of subjects
- work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence
- promote positive behaviour and engagement
- provide pastoral support and contribute to pupil’s wellbeing
- assist with supervision duties and wider school activities where required.
