Technical Writer / CAD Designer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a TECHNICAL WRITER / CAD DESIGNER (m/f/d) to expand our Mechanical Design team.
Immediate start, permanent, full-time position, based in Duisburg

You will carry out the following activities:

- Creating technical documentation and technical descriptions, including those in accordance with national and international standards and guidelines, as well as CAD and profile guidelines

- Creating and modifying technical drawings (in 2D and 3D)

- Assisting with construction design and plant layouts

- Maintaining part lists and master data

- Communicating with internal stakeholders and business partners

Required profile:

- Vocational training as a technical/CAD designer (m/f/d) or comparable qualification

- At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the preparation of technical specifications for the procurement process and the creation of technical documentation

- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office; experience with PDM Profile and SAP is desirable

- Ideally, knowledge of job-related standards (Machinery Directive, CAD, documentation)

- Very good command of both German and English

- Flexibility, responsibility, ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills
