Job Description & Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished and entrepreneurial corporate finance professional to join our leadership team as a Senior Manager. This individual will play a key dual role:

- providing market coverage working in the relationship role for our key clients in Uzbekistan and proactively originating new business by building deep client relationships and creating transaction opportunities and

- ensuring excellence in deal execution.

The ideal candidate combines sharp strategic thinking, flawless execution, and the ability to engage senior clients with conviction and insight.

Key Responsibilities

1. Origination & Relationship Building

Proactively engage with CEOs, CFOs, private equity firms, and family business owners to identify potential mandates

Develop a pipeline of actionable ideas that solve client needs and create value

Initiate strategic dialogues with clients — not waiting for inbound interest but creating the opportunity

Represent the firm in the market with credibility, integrity, and commercial sharpness

2. Strategic Thinking & Market Insight

Monitor sectors of focus to identify trends, potential deal themes, and market gaps

Generate thought leadership and actionable insights to stimulate client engagement

Collaborate with internal teams to shape and pitch compelling M&A and debt advisory ideas

3. Execution Leadership

Lead the execution of complex M&A transactions (sell-side, buy-side, mergers, joint ventures, carve-outs, etc.) and debt advisory transactions

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including corporate finance/financial/business/valuation analysts, legal, tax, and other due diligence advisors

Drive rigorous process management, from mandate kick-off through to closing

Ensure all deliverables (valuations, teaser, information memorandum, models, management presentations, etc.) meet the highest professional standards

4. Team Leadership

Lead and mentor junior and mid-level professionals, creating a culture of excellence, accountability, and development

Provide on-the-job training, guidance on workstreams, and career mentorship

Foster a high-performance environment where initiative and integrity are recognized

Qualifications

- 5-7+ years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, or a related corporate finance function
- Debt advisory experience including funding strategy and DCM transactions from origination through execution
- Proven track record in leading complex transaction execution from start to finish
- Demonstrated success in originating mandates and building long-term client relationships
- Strong understanding of the financial modeling and experience in deal structuring capabilities
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think commercially and act independently
- Advanced degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
- Absolutely fluent in English and Russian. Any other language is a huge plus.
