Psychometrist | Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health

Become a key link in getting patients the help they need as a Psychometrist in the Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit with CentraCare! The Psychometrist will administer and score standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the supervision of the Child & Adolescent and Adult Behavioral Health Clinic Directors and the neuropsychologists or licensed psychologists.

Core responsibilities

- Conducts testing procedures, ensuring standardization and accuracy of test administration, maintaining testing materials, documenting findings, and supporting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning.
- Administers standardized psychological, psychoeducational, cognitive, achievement, personality, behavioral, and neuropsychological tests.
- Works with patients across the lifespan and will collaborate with neuropsychologists, psychologists, physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Explains testing procedures and expectations to patients and families.
- Assists neuropsychologists and psychologists with the assessment process, to include scheduling, data collection, and review of records.

Schedule

- Full time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (no evenings, nights, or weekends!)
- On-site | CentraCare Plaza | St. Cloud MN
- Adult Behavioral Health is the primary unit, but will be cross trained to also help support Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health as needed

Pay and Benefits

- Psychometrist starting pay begins at $22.85 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
- Salary range: $22.85 - $34.25 per hour

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in psychology or a related field is required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, rehabilitation, educational or research setting is required. Two or more years is preferred.
- Certified Specialist in Psychometry (BCSP) certification through the Board of Certified Psychometrists is required within 3 years of hire.
- At least one year of experience administering psychological or neuropsychological assessments is preferred.
