About this role
We are seeking a **Senior Infrastructure Specialist** for a long-term consulting assignment with a leading international industrial technology company in Västerås. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for managing and improving complex IT and Industrial/OT infrastructure environments.
Tasks
* Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
* Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
* Support enterprise networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
* Drive infrastructure security, hardening, and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple infrastructure domains
* Collaborate with engineering teams supporting industrial systems, SCADA, PLCs, and factory networks
Requirements
* Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, networking, storage, and backup technologies
* Expertise in infrastructure security and automation
* Experience with Docker and enterprise infrastructure operations
* Background in manufacturing, Industrial IT, OT, SCADA, PLC, or ICS environments is highly desirable
