ABOUT THE ROLE

The Technical Training & Competency Expert will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the global training process. The Technical Training & Competency Expert supports the team in managing the trainings produced by the Operations Excellence teams, acting as the project manager of the end-to-end training lifecycle: planning, coordination, follow-up, completion tracking, escalation management, and reporting. The role also manages the onboarding process for new joiners and serves as the primary interface with HR for all training and onboarding-related matters. The Technical Training & Competency Expert will keep stakeholders and customers informed on the status of trainings, ensure the training tool is correctly configured to track who has and has not completed each training, and define KPIs and reports to measure the effectiveness of the process.

In this role, you will face dynamic challenges requiring strong project management, organization, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate must possess significant experience managing processes or follow-up activities in large or multi-stakeholder organizations, working effectively with HR, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous process improvement. This is a process and coordination role, not a content-creation or instructional-design role.

- Act as the main point of contact with HR on training and competency matters, ensuring alignment between the training process and HR's people development and competency frameworks.

- Accountable for the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of the training plan, based on content provided by the Operations teams, for employees and stakeholders involved in the training process.

- Monitor the effectiveness of training interventions and recommend improvements based on feedback and performance data.

- Own and manage the onboarding process for new joiners, coordinating with HR and Operations teams to ensure a structured and consistent onboarding experience.

Training Management:

- Implement and oversee the global training strategy and define the end-to-end training process.

- Coordinate with the Operations teams to schedule and organize training content into structured programs, and with HR to plan sessions, assign audiences, and integrate training into the broader competency framework.

- Manage the follow-up of trainings and onboarding activities: track attendance and completion, send reminders, and handle escalations for overdue or missed trainings.

- Verify that the training tool is correctly configured to reliably track who has completed and who has not completed each training.

- Share regular updates with customers on the status of trainings (progress, completion rates, planned sessions).

- Create reports and dashboards on training completion and define and monitor training KPIs.

- Evaluate training outcomes and effectiveness through assessments and feedback.

- Manage training budgets and allocate resources effectively.

- Continuous Improvement:
