Pay Rate:  $26.00/hr+DOE
Shift Differential:  10% when on night shift
Onsite Location: Yes
Position Type:  Hourly

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all site safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements by following established procedures, safety training, job hazard analyses (JHA/JSA), change management practices, and PPE requirements.
- Actively support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs by identifying, reporting, and communicating safety concerns while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence through quality improvement efforts, process optimization, cost-saving initiatives, and maintenance of area-specific procedures and documentation.
- Monitor and interpret alarms and notifications from multiple fire monitoring, duress, evacuation, safety shower, and emergency eyewash systems.
- Coordinate emergency communications by initiating site-wide notifications through telephone, radio, paging, and other communication platforms.
- Receive, monitor, and manage site emergency communications, maintaining accurate emergency contact information for key personnel.
- Perform emergency dispatch operations, crisis intervention, and incident coordination for emergency, medical, non-emergency, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) events, including providing pre-arrival instructions as needed.
- Support facility safety and emergency preparedness by serving as a critical communication link between personnel, emergency responders, and site leadership during incidents.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED required; must successfully obtain and maintain Medical Dispatcher Certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with other teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing and customer-focused professional with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to work overtime and support operational needs as required.
- Comfortable working in a professional office setting
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Willing to comply with employer drug-testing requirements

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
