Job Description
Purpose
- Execute defined manufacturing processes to produce conforming parts while meeting safety, quality, and production expectations.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Execute assigned manufacturing processes per standard work.

Skills and Responsibilities
Performance evaluation, skill progression, and role advancement for all applicable positions are determined through a combination of documented system data and direct leadership validation. Mendix data is used to confirm productivity, attainment, and system usage. Supervisor, Lead, and Trainer feedback is used to validate safe operation, quality output, skill application, and readiness for progression during normal production conditions. No single data source determines performance outcomes. Final determinations are made through review of both operational data and leadership assessment and apply consistently across all roles and levels.
Welder / Fabricator – Level 1
- Qualified in one Welder / Fabricator role.
Welder / Fabricator – Level 2
- All Level 1 Requirements.
- Qualified in two Welder / Fabricator roles.
- At minimum, holds Level 2 in both roles.
Welder / Fabricator – Level 3
- All Level 2 Requirements.
- Qualified in three or more Welder Fabricator roles.
- At minimum, holds Level 3 in three or more roles.
Welder / Fabricator - Lead
- All Level 3 Requirements.
- Provide floor support to production teams.
- Support Victaulic Safety initiatives as an area representative.
- Support Victaulic FEM initiatives as an area representative.
- Assist Production supervisor’s day-to-day activities when needed.
- Balance production when required.
- Providing guidance / training to new welders.
- Reinforce knowledge / best practices to welders.
- Track training and reinforcement efforts.
- Weekly touchpoints with employees and observations reported to supervisors.
