About this role

At Materialise Medical, we believe that better healthcare starts with solutions designed around the individual patient. If you’re passionate about bringing personalized care to every patient, you’ll love being a part of this team. Through the technology we develop, researchers, engineers, and clinicians are revolutionizing personalized treatment — helping improve and save lives daily.

This position involves supporting surgical cases in the cranio-maxillofacial (CMF) field by conducting web meetings with surgeons, virtually planning procedures, and overseeing the design process of surgical guides, implants, and models to transfer a virtual plan to an operative reality. This role will involve the study of relevant anatomical and medical subjects, training of software platforms and case processing tools, and exposure to quality, regulatory, and manufacturing systems to ensure a high standard is met throughout the process of managing a case.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Project / Case Management

Prioritize tasks daily among projects of varying lead time and complexity. Navigate a fast-paced work environment with a proactive mindset and efficient task management. Ensure deadlines are met on a daily basis and timelines are being assessed and managed as necessary in a fluid environment.

- Clinical Support and Interaction with Customers

Build relationships with surgeons from various fields by providing a strong customer experience via web meetings, phone calls, emails, etc during case processing. Become a trusted resource with external parties by setting proper expectations, providing prompt service, and delivering committed results.

- Software Training & Development

Learn proprietary software platforms that support cases from start to finish, including image processing, data preparation, surgical planning, design, and production. Contribute to the iterative process of improving both software and protocols to optimize internal workflows.

- Travel & In Person Support

Travel to customer sites and trade shows to promote and support our products. Meet with external partners and clinicians to gather feedback and understand what market realities may demand from our offerings. Attend procedures in the OR to gain first hand experience and look for ways to further innovate our solutions and improve patient care.
