About this role

Time period

- From March 2027 for a period of 6 months

Tasks

- Literature review, concept development, and simulation of system components (resonators, compensation/matching, and power electronics) for wireless inductive power transfer systems with higher charging capacities (22 kW+)

- Construction, commissioning, and characterization of prototypes

- Planning, coordination, and execution of test series

- Performing and evaluating 2D and 3D FEA simulations

Requirements

- Enrollment in an engineering study program (electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field)

- Good knowledge of electromagnetics/electrodynamics and common simulation methods

- Good knowledge of electrical engineering, particularly power electronics, as well as testing and measurement technology

- Good written and spoken German and English skills
