About this role
Key Duties include:
- Establish and maintain product standards and specifications for all raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, sanitation, food safety, and beverage manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate, review, and update quality and food safety policies, procedures, SOPs and work instructions.
- Ensure production records, quality-control documentation, and analytical data are timely, accurate and relevant to ensure the process maintains controls.
- Oversee laboratory activities and ensure testing is performed according to approved methods.
- Manage internal quality and food safety audits and maintain compliance with ISO 9001/FSSC 22000.
- Promote a strong quality and food safety culture throughout the Company.
- Establish, prepare, and manage the Quality Assurance department's annual operating and capital budgets in accordance with the Company’s objectives.
Qualification and/or Experience:
Critical:
- Master’s Degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field
- More than 5-10 years’ experience in QA/QC within a food and beverage or other manufacturing industry
- Experience supervising or leading a QA/QC team
- Training or Certification in ISO 9001/FSSC 22000, or related standards.
