Qualified Mental Health Professional–Community Services (QMHP-CS)

Location: Corsicana, Texas and Surrounding Areas

Life Enhancement Services of Texas is expanding into the Corsicana area and seeking compassionate, dependable professionals to provide community-based mental health services to children, adults, and families.

This is a field-based position. Services may be provided in clients’ homes, schools, offices, or other approved community settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized skill-building and mental health rehabilitation services based on each client’s treatment plan.

- Help clients strengthen coping, communication, behavior-management, problem-solving, and independent-living skills.

- Build professional relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and members of the client’s support system.

- Monitor and communicate client progress toward treatment goals.

- Complete accurate progress notes and required documentation within 72 hours of service delivery.

- Collaborate with schools, courts, probation departments, community agencies, and other authorized support systems.

- Maintain client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.

- Attend required staff meetings, supervision sessions, orientation, and professional-development training.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a Texas-recognized QMHP-CS field, such as psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, human development, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or another qualifying field.

- College transcript required to verify QMHP-CS eligibility.

- Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, case management, social services, education, or community-based services is preferred.

- Strong written communication, time-management, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage an assigned caseload.

- Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

- Ability to travel throughout Corsicana and surrounding areas.

- Must successfully complete required background checks, credentialing, training, and CANS/ANSA certification requirements.
