About this role

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems covered under workmanship or manufacturer warranties
Inspect newly installed HVAC systems for installation-related issues
Identify the root cause of equipment, airflow, electrical, refrigerant, drainage, and comfort concerns
Correct installation deficiencies and complete necessary repairs
Test completed work to confirm the system is operating safely and properly
Clearly explain findings, repairs, and next steps to homeowners
Document diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, photos, and job notes in Service Titan
Communicate recurring installation issues to management to help improve quality and reduce callbacks
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers when warranty parts are needed
Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and all applicable safety requirements
Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and assigned inventory
Deliver respectful, five-star customer service on every appointment

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of residential HVAC service or diagnostic experience required
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, electrical troubleshooting, airflow, refrigeration, and installation practices
Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications
EPA Section 608 certification required
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and make sound diagnostic decisions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Professional communication and customer-service skills
Ability to accurately document work using a tablet or mobile device
NATE certification or additional HVAC training is a plus
Experience with Service Titan is a plus
