Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in Concord, NC.
Correctional healthcare gives you the opportunity to build relationships with patients, provide hands-on care, and use your nursing skills in a safe, secure, and structured environment.
✨ What Youll Do
As an LPN with Southern Health Partners, youll provide essential nursing care to the incarcerated patient population while working as part of a dedicated healthcare team.
Your responsibilities may include:
- 💚 Providing direct patient care and nursing assessments
- 💚 Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- 💚 Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in condition
- 💚 Assisting with sick call and responding to patient healthcare needs
- 💚 Collaborating with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals
- 💚 Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- 💚 Supporting chronic care and ongoing patient needs
- 💚 Following established policies, procedures, and correctional healthcare standards
Qualifications
📋 What Youll Need
- Current North Carolina LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work effectively in a secure correctional environment
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, professional patient care
Correctional healthcare experience is not required. We provide the training and support you need to succeed in this unique setting.
