JOB SUMMARY: The Replenishment Manager is responsible for leading the organization's replenishment technology, demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization strategy through advanced system utilization, data analytics, and continuous process improvement. This role serves as the business owner for Oracle and replenishment planning systems, ensuring technology is optimized to drive automation, forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.

The position partners with Procurement, Category Management, Distribution, Logistics, Store Operations, Finance and IT to continuously improve replenishment capabilities through technology, analytics, and process optimization. The Replenishment Manager develops a high-performing team while maintaining accountability for purchasing execution and inventory performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Serve as the business owner for Oracle replenishment functionality and related planning systems.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that modernize replenishment processes through automation and technology enhancements.

- Develop, maintain and continuously improve demand forecasting models.

- Analyze sales, inventory, production and promotional data to identify trends and opportunities.

- Partner with IT to design, test and implement Oracle system enhancements.

- Develop system-driven replenishment strategies that reduce manual intervention.

- Create dashboards and KPIs for forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns and fill rates.

- Utilize Oracle planning tools and analytics to optimize inventory investment.

- Lead root cause analysis for forecasting errors and replenishment exceptions.

- Drive adoption of best practices in forecasting, replenishment automation and inventory optimization.

- Develop forecasting methodologies for seasonal, promotional and new item launches.

- Ensure master data integrity supporting replenishment planning.

- Lead, coach and develop a team of Replenishment Buyers.

- Foster a culture of accountability, analytical thinking and continuous improvement.

- Develop team capabilities in Oracle, forecasting and inventory analytics.

- Establish standardized operating procedures and monitor KPIs.

- Promote cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain and Operations.

- Oversee daily replenishment execution to maintain optimal inventory levels.

- Manage purchasing activities supporting Just-in-Time production.

- Optimize purchasing decisions based on demand forecasts.

- Ensure proper inventory allocation across stores.

- Partner with Procurement and Category Management on supplier performance.

- Improve inventory turns while maintaining service levels.

- Support commissary production forecasting.

REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:

Education/Experience/Skills

- College Degree preferred and/or 5+ years experience in fresh foods replenishment, supply chain, or inventory management in a retail or food service environment.

- Strong preference is given to applicants who have completed the WAFC Retail Management Certificate Program (RMCP).

- Strong forecasting, demand planning and inventory optimization experience.

- Advanced Excel and reporting skills; Power BI preferred.

- Experience leading ERP enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.

- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) written and oral preferred.

- Product knowledge and expertise for the department that is supported.

- Strong knowledge of fresh food categories (produce, bakery, deli, meat, prepared foods).

- Experience working with replenishment systems, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization.

- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable strategies.

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align with logistics, store teams, and vendors.

- Ability to solve problems, think critically, and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with ERP, forecasting, and replenishment software.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control measures.

- Strong background in vendor negotiations and sourcing strategies.

- This position is headquartered in the Northgate Gonzalez Market Support Center. As such, this position is defined as full-time and on-site. Any remote work or work performed outside of the Support Center must be authorized by the Departments Supervisor.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; and use the hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools or controls;

- The employee must frequently walk, talk or hear, and reach with the hands and arms; occasionally, the employee must crouch or kneel;

- The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 25 pounds carrying boxes of records and forms and frequently exert or lift moderate amounts of weight;

- Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range: $95,316 to $121,000
