Description

This role encompasses extensive responsibilities for Moove’s Heath, Safety, and Environmental programs as a member of the HSEQ team.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and areas of noncompliance
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents; determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Manage permits, reporting requirements, and regulatory filings related to environmental compliance (air, water, waste, hazardous materials)
- Design and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and new hires and for operations activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (such as OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, NFPA, etc.)
- Work with Training Manager to conduct training needs assessments and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Actively participate in Safety and Quality Committees, tracking and ensuring completion of related projects, researching and creating guidelines and best practices
- Track progress, results, and ensure completion of EHS training programs, creating reports and other data for leadership on performance for regions/areas monthly/quarterly, including audits, safety reports, training compliance and other relevant data
- Lean experience preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in safety and/or environmental management roles

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks

• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary Description
$65-80,000 depending on experience
