Key Responsibilities Cost Estimating & Bidding: Review job orders, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to compile comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and timeframes. Leadership Support: Work closely with leadership as a primary advisor on job pricing, margin analysis, and scope feasibility. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Request, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from material suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bidding. Site Inspections & Scoping: Conduct site walk-throughs and project evaluations to verify job requirements and identify potential risk factors. Proposal Preparation: Draft clear, detailed project proposals and scope-of-work documentation for prospective and existing clients. Project Hand-off & Tracking: Coordinate with operations and project management teams to transition awarded projects smoothly and track cost variations against estimates.

Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in industrial estimating, maintenance, or technical project estimation. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documentation. Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and database management. Sharp analytical, math, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building client and vendor relationships.
