Overview:
The Staffing Specialist supports the Territory Manager in daily operations and sales generation. This role is dedicated to enhancing both the customer and associate experience. The Staffing Specialist is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and placing associates, ensuring a great match for assignments. Additionally, they generate and fill orders, providing excellent service to customers and associates.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Excellence:
- Become proficient with all required operating systems.
- Take inbound orders from new and existing customers, entering them into the system.
- Perform high-volume outbound phone calls and messaging via work alert technology to find qualified workers for job orders.
- Utilize tools to find the best associate match for open positions, ensuring qualification alignment through JobStack dispatches.
- Collaborate with the Territory Manager to execute action plans aimed at improving branch performance.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the branch, including filing, record retention, and general appearance.
- Process payroll for associates timely and accurately, ensuring all time is submitted and approved, and resolving any disputed hours.
- Respond promptly and professionally to administrative and third-party requests, including unemployment claims and managing workers’ compensation claims.
- Address customer billing and payment issues, including collections where appropriate.
- Promote a culture of safety and take proactive actions to ensure compliance, including all required screenings.
- Respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to questions or concerns via phone, email, chat, or in-person, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
Customer Satisfaction and Engagement:
- Provide exceptional customer service to both existing and potential customers.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to build lasting relationships.
- Proactively reach out to customers and associates to ensure their satisfaction and act with urgency to meet their needs.
- Assist with the development of customer relationships through high-volume telephone contact.
- Upsell, generate repeat sales, quote prices within assigned parameters, resolve customer problems, escalate concerns, and introduce and support digital tools and platforms.
- Understand customer requests and deliver the best fit when dispatching associates, ensuring non-discrimination and adherence to protected class guidelines.
- Perform job site visits, check-ins, and serve as onsite presence when required.
Associate Services and Support:
- Provide exceptional customer service to both existing and potential associates.
- Engage with associates in a friendly, professional manner to build lasting relationships.
- Proactively recruit new associates and ensure successful onboarding, including I9 verification, applicable screenings, and JobStack registration and usage.
- Manage associates to ensure assignment success, adherence to attendance and reliability guidelines, and compliance with customer-specific requirements and PeopleReady guidelines.
- May be required to drive a vehicle to transport associates to work locations or conduct customer site visits as needed.
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in customer service or related field
- Prior experience in the staffing industry preferred
Core Knowledge and Skills
- Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Teams.
- Customer service and/or sales experience
- Business operations knowledge and strong problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance are required .
- Effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
- Possess a positive attitude with the ability to be empathetic and flexible.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as resumes and procedure manuals.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Work hours may require flexibility and availability in the evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.

Branch work environment with frequent customer interaction, constantly operating a computer, phone, and other office equipment.
